OUR PASTOR

CHRIS SILVER

Chris Silver is faithfully serving as our Interim Pastor, bringing a wealth of experience in teaching God’s Word and ministering to people of all ages.

Chris earned his B.S. from Faith Baptist Bible College and his Master of Divinity from Faith Baptist Seminary. His ministry experience includes serving as a youth pastor and youth leader, adult small group leader, camp speaker, and high school Bible teacher for 20 years.

Outside of ministry, Chris enjoys following Iowa Hawkeyes athletics, the St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and Chicago Bulls, as well as traveling, bike riding, and disc golfing. We are thankful for Chris’s leadership and service during this season of transition.

Collins Christian Church is an independent, Christ centered, Biblically based community of believers affiliated with BCI. The church has been a place of worship since the late 1800s.

We gather weekly to enjoy fellowship, praise and worship God, pray for each other, and gain deeper knowledge of God through the Bible.

Collins Christian is involved in several community outreach programs to serve both locally and globally.
